Mobile Wallet

A mobile wallet is an alternate payment channel, which allows you to securely make purchases at participating stores and within apps using your smart phone or device.

How it works

The app creates a unique device account number associated with your card.  Your Velocity card number will not be passed to a merchant; therefore, your receipts will show the last four (4) digits of your device account number, not your card number.

Velocity’s convenient Person-to-Person (P2P) service makes sending money to anyone’s credit union or bank account as easy as emailing or texting. Just use your current Velocity account to:

  • Send money to your child at college
  • Pay your babysitter or lawn care service
  • Send a gift to family and friends
  • Reimburse others for a group outing
  • Pay your landlord or compensate your roommates
  • And more!

Send money securely

Online or from our mobile app: Send money to anyone using their email address or mobile phone number. We’ll notify you when the transaction is complete.

To send money, just log in to Velocity’s online banking or mobile app, then select Transactions > Person-to-Person (P2P).
