What happens if I move?

Online and mobile banking — including the ability to deposit a check with a mobile device or scanner — provides access to your account anywhere, anytime, and you have access to thousands of shared credit union branches nationwide.
How can I switch my current account to Velocity?
✔ Review monthly statements or activity online.
Make note of current auto-drafts, direct deposits and outstanding transactions.
✔ Update automatic drafts.
Identify automatic payments being drawn from your current checking account and redirect them to Velocity. Make sure there are enough funds in your new Velocity account before switching over any current automatic payments.
✔ Update and inform direct depositors.
Contact your employer or others making direct deposits into your account to make sure they send deposits to your new Velocity account (includes payroll departments, government agencies, and pension providers).
✔ Close your other accounts.
Once you have updated automatic payments and deposits to point to your new Velocity accounts, you can close your old accounts. Contact your previous financial institution to find out how. If needed, use this generic Account Closure form. Be sure that all outstanding transactions have cleared first.
