For our members age 50 and better, Velocity Credit Union offers a special package of benefits and services, called the Elite Rewards, to help better meet their financial needs. Don’t worry, there are no meetings and no dues. Take a look at the requirements and benefits below.

Elite Rewards Requirements

All members age 50 and better are eligible to become an Elite Rewards if they meet at least ONE of the following criteria:

• Member has combined deposits in Velocity Credit Union share certificates, IRAs, Prestige Money Market account, or regular shares (savings) equaling $1,000.00 or more
• Member utilizes Direct Deposit to automatically deposit at least $200.00 per month on a recurring basis to any Velocity Credit Union account. This can be any Direct Deposit from employer payroll, employer retirement, or federal payment like Social Security.
• Member has a Velocity Credit Union MasterCard or Quickloan account in good standing with a credit limit of $1,500.00 or more.

Elite Rewards Benefits

• Unlimited regular American Express Travelers Checks at no cost and Travelers Checks For Two at a discounted rate.
• Eligibility for special loan rates. On many types of loans, this could mean a reduction of 0.20% APR to 0.50% APR* on your next loan. This includes unsecured loans, new and used auto loans and loans for boats, recreational vehicles, furniture, appliances, and much more.
• Eligibility for special share certificate rates on your deposit of $5,000.00 or more. These special rates can increase your investment Annual Percentage Yield by 0.10% APY to 0.20% APY** depending upon the amount and the length of time you invest.
• A special Elite Rewards identification card. Present this card to receive any of the above benefits.
• Free teller checks issued to member or third party
• Other benefits may be offered to Elite Rewards members throughout the year on a periodic basis.
